Problem

Cake Fairy, a vibrant coffee, donut, and sandwich shop nestled in the heart of Harare's CBD, has been delighting a devoted clientele from the bustling business community. However, we have identified challenges affecting business flow and the user experience.

  1. Long queues when placing or picking up orders

  2. A relatively small business space turns away customers during peak hours.

Solution

Mobile Ordering App:

  • Develop a user-friendly mobile app that allows customers to place orders in advance.

  • Implement a simple and intuitive interface for browsing the menu, customizing orders, and receiving notifications

The aim was to create a visually appealing app with a slick, electric feel. After conducting a thorough audit of the existing components and working with the team, we established design principles and patterns that aligned with the brand. The resulting system prioritized visual harmony, readability of data, a cohesive brand identity, and a more efficient development workflow.
